The UTCA has asked our legal counsel to draft a memo in the event U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) show up on our job sites and or contractor's offices. Just last week ICE did show up at a members office looking to do a 1-9 audit. The memo drafted by Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli & Tipton is attached to this email. It is important to note that due to the uncertainty surrounding ICE searches and seizures, it is recommended that all construction employers take certain steps to protect their construction site and offices
